Looking for opinions; heres my concept for a top down nub adjustment. This pic does not have precise measurements yet, as Im just mocking it up right now. Basically you have: 1. A small rail cover piece over the top rail where the nub drops in 2. A screw 3. A new nub block (not stock). You drop in the new nub block, and put the existing stock tapered nub screw all the way in to lock the nub into the channel so it doesnt rotate on top of the bucking. Attach the rail cover, then start to screw in the new hop adjustment screw. The screw will be short enough it doesnt stick out the top, and the rail cover threading will go deep enough for the screw to be recessed down in. The new nub block has an indent in the top for the screw to avoid any shifting, and allow it to sit flat. The new nubs could be made flat, for anyone who wants to mod themselves, to standard round nub or flat nub.
