Looking for people to volunteer to make something for the Cains Quest racers as they drive through Nain. Although Checkpoint 15 (Nain) is a mandatory stopover (we are aware that they can go straight to the hotel), but, because Nain is always quite accommodating, we think it would be nice to offer the racers a snack, or a quick hot meal, either on the way to, or from the hotel. Looking for individuals to make soup, chili, panitsiaks, sandwiches, baked goods, or anything else you may be able to offer. The checkpoint will be at the shed on the dock. Volunteers will be there around the clock. Unfortunately, we do not have any funds to buy ingredients. After our meeting tonight, we should have a guesstimated time as to when volunteers will be at the checkpoint, thus, giving you a better time to have food prepared. If you are unable to bring to the dock, please let Morrall Jordan Blake, Simon Kohlmeister, Reginald Maggo, Hamlin Lampe, Helena Kautjasiak, Bonnie Lyall, Rutie Lampe, Ivy Dicker, Sean Lyall, or myself, know so that someone can pick it up from you (please label your pots/containers).
