Please email to [email protected] or [email protected] ************************************************************ SUBSEA CONTROL ENGINEER Qualification: - Degree in a relevant engineering/technical discipline and demonstrate competence with 5+ years experience in subsea control system design and execution; - Preferably of Charted Engineer status or equivalent with good knowledge in multi-discipline engineering - The position requires a combination of strong technical, analytical, innovative & commercial skills - Previous expose to subsea system production operations and maintenance Tasks & Responsibilities:- - Provide engineering design for subsea controls and solutions across the project lifecycle - Ensure all HSE and Sustainable Development requirements are addressed in all engineering phases / activities - Participation within internal and external multi-discipline Engineering Reviews including HAZID / HAZOP - Technical investigation of failures within subsea production systems’ manufacture commissioning and operations - Individual may be required to assume a Technical Authority role as requested by the Discipline Leader - Contribute/review/approval (TA2) of Project / Activity deliverable documents and deviation of standards and standard practices - Application and interpretation of regulations, standards specifications and guidelines ( International, National and Company (Shell DEM/DEP’s) within specialist area. - Support for development and/or implementation of obsolescence management strategies within subsea production systems - Individuals will be responsible for engaging and monitoring of performance of subsea control vendors - Management of HSSE activities applicable to workscopes.
