Looking for some advice after some sad news those morning.... Despite ensuring door was closed on the chook shed last night (simple latch only) we awoke this morning to find three chooks out of the coop roaming the garden, three left in the coop cowering in the corner and one (RIP Midnight) with its head, almost clinically removed, outside the coop. Signs of a potential struggle/disturbance in the coop and the door open! Very sad and shocking.,, but determined it get it right can anyone offer some advice as to what it was? Possum or cat? And any advice as to how to ensure it doesnt happen again?
