Looking for some feedback on a question I have never been able to find clear info on. Do the custom settings in Picture Styles have ANY impact whatsoever on the Raw file. I have read in many places that Raw is RAW as in totally untouched data as it hit the sensor. But I have also had some photogs (whom BTW, I have the utmost respect for) insist that the Sharpness, Contrast, Sat, and Tonal settings in Custom Picture Styles do invoke some in camera processing even to Canons CR2 file. So, just how RAW is Raw? A second unrelated question Im curious about is setting of color space both in camera and in photoshop ... sRGB vs. Adobe RGB. First, is it important that your in camera setting matches how you set it in PS and secondly, what do most people use AND Why?
