********Looking for some solid input and investigative work...Just received a call from probably a 50+ sounding woman offering a free 3 day cruise. She says she is with Holiday Cruise Line and if I will give rave reviews and share this experience with friends, family, and on social media they have a once in a lifetime rate for me. $59/person, 2 person minimum so $118 total for the Port Fee/Taxes and I did not have to set the date for the cruise whilst on the phone with her--said if I accept offer and pay whilst on the phone I have 18 months to sign up for a date for the cruise. I asked twice for a number to call back on (she called from Argyle, Tx @ 940-489-4299) as I stated that I will not give out credit card information over the phone (thanks to my mom who stepped in to help!!) without verifying authenticity of everything--lady never gave me the number and said she will call back tomorrow at 5pm. Cruise casts off in Florida and the destination: Grand Bahama Island. She explained that we will receive A crew # assigned to us for our needs during the stay, 3 free gourmet meals per day (many buffets to choose from and 4 different restaurants as well). According to her [I] do not need to bring my passport if I am a US citizen (which she never asked if I was yet knew that I lived in Texas when I didnt even verify that information), but would only need to bring a valid drivers license and official birth certificate. Has already emailed me detailed information about the offer which I am happy to share with anyone who is interested in reading it...Here is the link to the cruise line holidaycl/ . and she has not sent me an email for the information she said would arrive in [my] email inbox within the minute...She tried staying on the line with me and persistently asked for my credit card information 3 times. Can anyone verify if this is a scam and if it is who can I call to report this or warn?? Is it too much that I speak with my bank about this event? Thank you in advance!!
