Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13 One of the best ways to get rid of discouragement is to remember that Christ is coming again. What is happening in your life right now is not going to last forever! The most thrilling, glorious truth in all the world is the second coming of Jesus Christ. When we look about today and see pessimism on every side, we should remember that the Bible is the only book in the world that reliably predicts the future. It says the consummation of all things shall be the coming again of Jesus Christ to this Earth. This truth gives us hope—but it should also make us sober and more diligent. After all, we do not know exactly when Christ will return. Jesus Himself said, “Of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only” (Matthew 24:36). Believing in the return of Christ doesnt make us less concerned about this world; it makes us more concerned, because we know time may be short. Now is the time to live for Christ and witness for Him.
