Looking for tips on getting an old fella(18) to take his bit. Was originally driven with a real harsh twisted snaffle, and is a real well mannered guy - no need for a severe bit. Got him last year, and he is real laid back - except for taking a bit (regular snaffle). No sharp spots on the bit (checked multiple times!) and drives like a dream with very little pressure once it is in. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
