Looking forward to seeing all the talented dancers at Belly dance trophies Final tomorrow. ONLY a few tickets now remaining ... Good luck to them all and ESPECIALLY to my lovely student Roxane Grant who from the very first impressed me with her talent. So much so that as soon as had performed a try out class dance piece I was so impressed I offered her a slot in Planet Egypt. Never done that before or since. She was brilliant and her Mum stood up proudly waving to all like the Queen Mother.... lol . Whatever happens she has my admiration and respect. She is also a lovely person too. Many of us are focused on outcomes but the Journey itself is just as important. How the dance scene has changed. Younger dancers have so many thrilling and wonderful opportunities to explore and exploit. Well done to Maëlle Dubeaux Roger the first winner who is preparing to hand over the crown tomorrow. What a tremendous year she has had, and she has grown as an artist and as a performer incredibly since then. Its going to be an amazing night and I hope to see you there . xx Anne
