Looking forward to waking up tomorrow and finding out that my mate Neil Findlay is the new leader of the Scottish Labour Party. Hell mend you if you voted for King of the Wretches, Jim Murphy. Anyone who is a trade unionist who has voted for Murphy should hang their heads in shame. He is a Blairite, and no friend of trade unions as was evident when he stuck his nose into the Falkirk carry on, because he wanted his mate as a candidate. Having worked with Neil over the last 4 years on various issues of social justice, he is the real hope. I am not a member of the LP or any party, but made a promise to myself that I would join one post indyref. Neil is the only person who could convince me to join. If Murphy gets in it is game over for Labour in Scotland. Where do I turn? If only there was a truly, credible, united left to challenge the SNP. Or do I join the already left moving SNP and move it further to the left? Who knows, my brain hurts with this bollocks!
