Looking into possibility of investing into Vietnam Real Estate as the policy open up. And Vietnam real estate is the way to go in this region compare to SIngapore real estate cooling down. I have highlight this since early last year ineveryone of my seminar that eventually the government will open out to the foreigners . But every time I spoke I was being warm that the markets have not hit the bottom. We never know when is the bottom. But we know when it is going to rebounce With opening of access to foreigners it is a clear sign it will rebounce. Consumer and real estate sectors are expected to outperform this year on the back of supporting governmental policies. Some good fundamental companies that are worth to consider are: MWG, VNM and VIC, KDH, TDH,DXG. The Vietnamese National Assembly last month approved the amended Housing Law to make the local real estate market become more competitive within the region’s. This amended law, which will come into effect from 1st July 2015, allows foreigners to lease and own up to 30% of an apartment building or 250 villas or detached houses in a ward administrative unit or a residential area with equivalent population. Foreigners are also permitted to pay for property through a financial organization operating in Vietnam. It would promote easier access to property mortgages for foreigners and increase liquidity of the residential property market which has been slow in the past few years.
