Looking out to 10 days ahead, and the general theme across the UK remains one of unsettled conditions with areas of low pressure moving in from the west, bringing further wind and rain, as the jet stream remains firmly planted across the UK.There are some occasional little ridges of high pressure showing up across Southern-most parts from time to time, offering a few spells of 24-36 hours of some more settled weather here, but the predominant theme remains an unsettled one, with some cooler shots of air occasionally moving in across Scotland, bringing some snow to the very highest ground and the risk of some slight frosts. We will see this occur during Thursday this week. We also have eyes on the potential for some rather strong winds, tied in with a low pressure system, moving in across the UK early next week. At present there is a lot of disagreement between forecasting model suites, with some suggesting winds as high as 80mph, and others offering just a rather standard autumnal low pressure - this is something we will keep an eye on in the coming days and keep you up to date with. So in summary, remaining rather unsettled for the next 10 days with more rain on the way.
