Looking up... I see the stars robed in brilliant light more distant than the mind can fathom; I see the faint traces of the Milky Way galaxy, like a light brush stroke across the night sky; I see Mars, quietly keeping watch as our nearest planetary neighbor; I see occasional shooting stars, mere particles of cosmic dust, ignited like flares; I once saw a satellite, reminding me of Mankinds small imprint on the cosmos; And as I look up at the stars, I see my future. I see the palette that has been painted by the Master Painter, the Artist who created you and me. God created you so that you might look up and worship Him. He created you with a purpose that is far beyond this temporal, confining world. Deep within each of us there is a longing for eternity, a longing for Heaven. A longing for Home. Look up. Look to Jesus. He is the Way.
