Looks like Comcast got its act together and corrected the schedule - TopicsExpress

Looks like Comcast got its act together and corrected the schedule for FIBA Womans basketball today in Turkey. USA plays France (again) in a quarter final matchup. The French women pulled out a squeaker a couple of weeks ago and the USA ladies are seeking redemption - and my educated guess is that they will do it in dominating fashiom. The new and improved USA women have added Brittney Griner to the paint and that will shut down the French star who had her way a few weeks ago with her double double. Brittney Griner, along with Tina Charles (of UCONN fame) and Nneka Ogwumike should totally shut down the paint to the French. The only way the French could have any chance of scoring is from outside - BUT, Stewie and her long arms should be able to intimidate 3-point shooters from scoring on a regular basis. USAs defense should be able to make it hard for France to score frequently from outside. My second guess is that Geno is going to give Stewie a little more playing time. She is rested and wants to be a bigger part of the remaining victories. Oh, sorry! I almost forgot. Comcast now shows the live game starting at 2:00 PM EST. on NBATV. It can also be watched on ESPN3 (via your computer). Dont be confused with the USA womens game that is being REbroadcast at noon. It is the game the USA ladies played against Angola a few days ago. It was a great victory - actually a blowout - but I would rather watch the live game going on at the same time between Turkey and Serbia. Interesting - I never thought Turkey would have gotten this far - I thought Canada or Australia or even China would have made it to the Semis. Russia was 3rd in the world womens rankings and they were nowhere to be found in the final eight teams - yet, Turkey was 13th in the world and they are still in the thick of things.
