Looks like I wont actually be running in the Temecula Spartan Race tomorrow.... I just accepted my first official dispatch as a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers local 12 and have to be bright eyed and bushy tailed on the job site at 6am on Monday.... and I am not confident in my ability to recover from a 16 mile long obstacle course race in 105 degree heat on Saturday. I have been waiting for this opportunity for about 6 months and unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) my career has to come first in this situation..... The trifecta will just have to come later!
