Looks like Key West or Bust will be continued at a later date thanks to that lovely week James and I just spent in Apalachicola. We arrived into Tarpon Springs this morning and have made arrangements about leaving Terri-fied here for a respite at the Tarpon Landing Marina. It is a great marina with a restaurant called Captain Jacks. We have had live entertainment all afternoon and also enjoyed a visit from Bart. So, in January, James and I will rent a car again and continue our voyage to Key West. The past twelve days have certainly had their ups and downs...but the captain and I have had the best time in spite of the disappointment of not making KW by Thanksgiving. We have met some really super folks from all over the place, and for a brief period in time we found ourselves depending on each other to achieve our mutual goals of crossing Big Bend. What an incredible experience! Tomorrow morning the two of us will set our sights on Fairhope, AL which is still the prettiest place on earth to us! Thanks for coming along on our adventure ...your comments have meant so much, especially when times were frustrating and trying....looking forward to Christmas now and being back home! Xoxoxo
