Looks like TV may be better than the movies this weekend! Just a reminder that The Who will be one of the performers tonight on the fourth edition of the star-studded fundraising telecast Stand Up to Cancer. The hourlong show will air at 8 p.m. ET/PT on nearly every TV network you can think of, including ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, Bravo, E!, HBO, Showtime and VH1, and also will stream live on the Hulu and Yahoo websites. During their appearance, the rockers will take the opportunity to promote Teen Cancer America, the charity co-founded by singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend that supports the creation of programs and facilities that focus on the needs of young people who are battling the disease. Foo Fighters frontman -- and Teen Cancer America supporter -- Dave Grohl will be on hand to introduce The Who on the special. The band is expected to play a medley of Baba ORiley and Listening to You/See Me, Feel Me near the end of the show. Dave Matthews Band, Jennifer Hudson, Ariana Grande, Lupe Fiasco and Common also will perform on the Stand Up to Cancer special. In addition, a bevy of other celebrities will appear on the show, including Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Will Ferrell, Halle Berry, Jon Hamm, Jennifer Aniston, Rob Lowe, Melissa McCarthy, Keifer Sutherland, Sofia Vergara, Kevin Bacon, Steve Carell, Reese Witherspoon, Ben Stiller, Mark Harmon, Eric Stonestreet, Mira Sorvino, Tony Goldwyn and Charlie Wilson, among others. Visit StandUp2Cancer.org to find out more information about the event and to donate to the cause.
