Looks like another round of Old Man Winter is on its way to the area. Are you prepared for the possibility of ice AND snow? Remember with ice, power outages are a possibility. Make sure you have food that doesnt need cooked, drinking water, alternative heating and lighting sources including flashlights with extra batteries and candles with matches or lighters. Is your vehicle fueled up in case you have to leave your home for alternative housing? And dont forget to have the cell phone fully charged or have a way to charge it through your vehicle. If you do have to drive, remember, four wheel drive is not better on ice, sometimes its even worse than 2 wheel drive! Above all just be prepared and have a plan in place to make sure you and your family are safe and warm!
