Looks like planning of the first part of my HUGE US trip is over. Skipping the Seattle part we get plenty of time to spend in nice and quiet city of Portland. After 3 days there we head our vessel towards one of the greatest coastal route in the world - Highway 101. It promises to be a gorgeous mix of hiking, mere sightseeing, photography, whale watching (thnx, pal!), buggy rides (yep, there are dunes for that!) and even a jet boat rides. Understanding that no one from the likes of my friends here (FB) indeed have their friends living at the Oregon coast I ll certainly go for BnBs and motels which are aplenty there. BUT, I m still in search of cozy and not so expensive place to sleep in the vicinity of both Portland and SF. If you have any friends in these areas - please, let them consider my proposal.
