Looks like schoolkids are being brainwashed by Marxists in Somerset. A group of Bath schoolchildren have started a craze for a new Twitter hashtag #looksabitukip The hashtag took off after a Western Daily Press letter writer overheard some teenagers using a new slang term in Bath. Mike Brandon of Worle, North Somerset, wrote that he had overheard the use of the apparently derogatory phrase at Bath bus station in reference to a teacher. And in encouraging proof of youth engagement with politics, it came from the mouths of schoolchildren. He wrote: Many of the terms we used when I was young would be meaningless now, because the people or events that inspired them have long since faded from memory. I wonder if that will be true in future of a new insult I overheard today? At Bath bus station I was eavesdropping on a nearby group of schoolchildren, when I heard them refer to one of their teachers. They wouldn’t like to be alone with this particular man, they all agreed, because he “looks a bit Ukip”. Apparently, this means what a previous generation might have called “creepy”. A picture of the letter has since done the rounds on Twitter. -C-
