Looks like that status I shared from the (now deleted) Augusta Pagan Pride page is also gone with the wind. All of which has to raise some serious questions for our local pagan community regarding the leadership in charge of Pagan Pride Day festivities. The status was a broad sweep of Sorry, its not gonna work out for us to have a PPD this year, its just not in the cards. The question I raised in sharing the status was where did all the operational budget go? There were fundraisers held to fund restarting the festival for 2014. HUNDREDS of dollars unaccounted for. Three months out from the tentative date, its suddenly cancelled with a bullshit apology?? SORRY - NOT ADEQUATE. This community DESERVES an explanation of where THEIR money went and WHY IT WAS CANCELLED. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. When the previous coordinators killed the project we also lost several hundred dollars that was in the bank for operations, forcing any new undertakers to start from scratch. By my estimates that should have been somewhere over $700. This go round there were numbers published on the now deleted page touting the success of the community yard sale for raising hundreds of dollars as well... SO - LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.... ARENT YOU THE LEAST BIT CURIOUS WHERE YOUR MONEY HAS GONE (AGAIN) AND WHY YOUR LEADERSHIP HAS SKIPPED OUT AND DROPPED THE BALL FOR HOSTING THE FESTIVAL?
