Looks like the AetherHarp will be traveling with me to Salt City - TopicsExpress

Looks like the AetherHarp will be traveling with me to Salt City Steamfest! Got the hardware buttoned up and fully functional, its secret key for activating its command interface works like a charm! (you can spot it in the video if you look carefully). Final features include: 128 different instrument voices plus a drum kit, user select-able 9 octave range (you position your 12 keys within that 9 octave range), support for all three common scales: Pentatonic (~2.5 octaves), Diatonic ( 1.7 octave), Chromatic (1 octave). 12 brass capacitive touch sensitive keyplates etched with the names of the 12 winds act as both instrument keys and command interface when the secret key is in place over the hidden reed switch beneath one of the plates. Built in USB charger and serial interface charges an internal 1200mAh LiPo battery which powers an Arduino Pro Mini at the heart of the instrument. A stereo mini-plug provides connection to an external power amp (PA) (in a fashion similar to an electric guitar).
