Looks like tonights star party is called on account of lightness. It is hard to get astronomers out to look at the sky on the summer solstice. We suggest watching the sunset from Boulevard Park instead. Then see how many stars you can count before the park closes. The first star to appear will be Arcturus, Followed by Vega. Altair and Deneb--the summer triangle. By then you should be able to see the Big Dipper--arc to Arcturus from the handle of the Big Dipper--and Polaris.
