Lootera: .. now for some technical musings: ..an endearing story! ...a thoughtfully woven script especially around the romance and plot buildups, the dialogs (the said ones and more appreciably the unsaid ones) the expressive acting ofhe actors esp. Sonakshi (the innocent buildup to love, the heartbroken protagonist et al), Ranveer (esp the angry explanation scene, the scenes in whispers), the camera work especially the play with light and darkness, the second half locales, the background score, the songs (there is no dance number, no lip sync and yet the story sways to the tunes), the edits with the flashbacks, the eye for detail (Godaan, Spitting can cause illness), the masterpiece of a final scene what with its deft sequencing and the summary-effect it has on the audience .. In effect, 2 hours of emulative filmcraft! Vikramaditya Motwane and Team: Gratitude! U seed and fuel our love of movie-making!
