Lord, I pray for the world today that more Christians would be concerned about the lives of others and not the selflessness that we so easily portray. As a nation we need you more than ever. Help us to be proud that we are your children and start living like we are, not being bound down by the rulers that have obtained power that either dont know you or are of another religion. You are the only true one that we should be looking to. Help us Father to understand the meanings of your words and apply them to our lives.
