Lord, I seek refuge in You; let me never be disgraced. Save me by Your righteousness. Listen closely to me; rescue me quickly. Be a rock of refuge for me, a mountain fortress to save me. For You are my rock and my fortress; You lead and guide me because of Your name. You will free me from the net that is secretly set for me, for You are my refuge. Into Your hand I entrust my spirit; You redeem me, Lord, God of truth. ------------ Psalm 31: 1-5 Do you sometimes just feel the need for some extra protection as you deal with the many challenges of life? I know that there are certainly times in my life when I feel the need for an extra sense of security. There are times when we ALL find ourselves looking for that solid assurance that we will be alright as we face threatening and troubling situations. In our scripture verses for today, we see that David also had the need to know that he would be protected. In these verses we find Davids plea for protection. David knew where to turn in his time of need, and so should we!!! Just as God was there to give David protection and guidance, He is here for ALL of us to do the same!!! --- So go ahead, call out to God!!! He is our REFUGE, and our FORTRESS!!! He will GUIDE us, and REDEEM us, as we completely place our trust in Him!!! The Lord will ALWAYS provide that solid rock security that we need, as we call out to Him!!! --- THANK YOU GOD, FOR YOUR FAITHFUL PROTECTION!!! Have a great Saturday everyone!!!
