Lord Im calling on you. Ive been emotionally overwhelmed for the last few weeks but the reality is settling in now. Today my niece, Raven Turner, has left for college and one of our faithful Lil church members that weve grown to know and love, Sis. Penny Watson, her last Sunday was today. I have been with Raven pretty much her whole life and in some aspects I really feel like Im her mom because whenever she needed anything if her parents wouldnt get it to her she wouldnt hesitate to call and say: Aunt Becky and Whoop There It Was. Then theres Sis. Penny, one of Ravens closest friends but also one of the best spirits that God could have ever blessed us with at New Chapel. Never had to tell her to do anything but she always stepped up and asked what would we have for her to do. Always went above and beyond, humble, and a true servant of the most High God. You just dont find that in too many teenagers and grown people today. She will be sorely missed from our fellowship. Blood couldnt have made us any closer and the fact that they both fight with my son and he considers them both like his big sisters makes it that much more difficult but my prayer is that covers and keep them both in a His care, that they will hold true and stand firm on what they have been taught, and that they will continue to let their light so shine before others so that it will be an example and Glorify our Father which is in Heaven. We love you guys and wish you nothing but the best in this new chapter of your lives!!!
