Lord Jesus, you gave us counsel to chose capable and honest men who have great respect for God and absolutely hate bribes. These are the men we should elect as leaders of our people. Father help us to make sure these are the type of people we elect to oversee this wonderful country. Oh Lord help us find the Man that will lead from his heart that would be a shepherd wanting to give all he can to make this a better nation. Without wise leadership this nation is failing we need you Lord God to bless us with a godly leader. Thank you Lord for answering my pray for we need your spirit to direct our lives and your word to follow your leadership.But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten. Exodus 18:21 “O Lord, you are the God who gives breath to all creatures. Please appoint a new man as leader for the community. Give them someone who will guide them wherever they go and will lead them into battle, so the community of the Lord will not be like sheep without a shepherd.” Numbers 27:16-17 Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers. Proverbs 11:14 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep. John 10:11
