Lord...forgive our self absorbed ways, our impatience, greed, lust, envy...etc etc...take our blank, collective canvases and paint us a picture of undeniable peace knowing that your plan for us is so much bigger than our savings accounts or our favorite boots or how we wear our hair...help us help others see you in us and have us be reminded that every day is a gift and that you are the ultimate giver whom we should constantly love and strive to be more like...help me be the man you had in mind and forgive the selfish choices I made along the way to create whatever version I preferred because it has never amounted to the peace that is all mine if I can step out of my own way long enough to let you create the better version I long to become...thank you for bearing with us all and for all that you do for us out of pure, unconditional love...good night and love from humble ole us
