Lord, help us! This nation was founded on the principle of God. Now they want to remove Him from the equation once we think we have arrived as superpower! In bible time, God gave the Isrealites commandments, why? They were living amongst those who did not believe in Him. He did not want them to assimilate into their cultures and take on their pagan ways because He knew they would turn against Him and His ways. They prospered when they trusted and obeyed and loved God with their whole heart. They suffered when they did what they wanted and turned away from God. Look at our nation as we have taken God out of our way of life! We trust ourselves and this government and love ourselves and our ways more than Him. We have unspeakable crimes being committed, poverty here while we send aide else where, economy jacked up. I can keep going on but no need! The promise He made to us is only when we believe, trust, obey and love Him. Ok, I am off my soap box!
