Lord of Love, Lord who is Love, Lord who causes me to Love, I love you, I thank You for this day, and as You lead me. Teach me Your love, Show me how to love, Show me who to love, And show me why to love. Teach me the reasons that You love me, even when I am unlovable, so that I can learn to love people who seem unlovable to me. In loving even the unlovable, help me to love myself. You love me, and so there is something here to love. Show me how to love myself, so that I may love others and You better. And help me to love You, for sometimes it is hard to see your face, but I know You are there, and You are more worthy of being loved than anyone here on earth. You, Lord, are love, and You, Lord, put love in me. Help me never to forget, and to always seek to love better, that I may be more like You. Thank you, Lord, in the name of the Christ, who came to the earth as love personified, that Your love may continue to grow in our world, Let Your Kingdom of Love come. Amen.
