Lord, sometimes we pray inside the boxes of our rooms, homes surrounded by the walls,views, and the presence of others that contain and distract us, but many times, our freedoms and victories come when we learn to pray outside - in the open spaces where our minds are not bound and focused on us and our Spirits can be free enough to Praise You for Your Greater goodness that cannot be contained. When we pray outside of the boxes of our own emotions, problems, worries and fears, we open our minds to Your expansive nature beyond the box that keeps us focused on ourselves. Outside Lord, we can seek Your face in the clouds, in the trees, in the whole of the Universe as we face the eternal Son of a brand new day, the Son of Your Love and Your Majesty who will forgive us for our sins. Inside ourselves we live and see our troubles; outside we can see, touch and feel the Mountains of Your Love as they have stood and do stand--- having overcome the tests of time. Outside, Lord, we can see the homeless, the hurting, the abused and the used, the needy, the sick and those who need a greater blessing and a Word spoken in their lives. When we can step outside the boxes of our personal lives, needs and wants we will see that outside ourselves are many troubles that can be overcome by merely calling on Your Name. Outside there is greater growth and victories to Glorify Your Name. Teach us to Pray O Lord, for others. Let us LEARN to Pray.....Outside -k.
