Lord we magnify you! And we lift you higher! (Thurmond Metters) This song has been going through my head almost non-stop. When we truly magnify The Lord, we reduce the importance of all else, including but not limited to, our thoughts and feelings. When we lift Him higher, we raise His Will and His purpose above our own and above our circumstances. We turn our focus upwards. We fight the temptation to become overwhelmed by the things are trying to swallow us and choke the Word and our hope out of our hearts. Magnifying the LORD is to see Him bigger! It is to see beyond our natural abilities and by faith.
