Lord, you have been so faithful!! I am still in awe of your goodness and humbled by the experience of ordination. On yesterday, God used Bishop Richard K. Thompson as the human vessel to ordain me an Elder in the Church of God. This has been a long journey full of ups and down but God gets the GLORY! The devil tried but God did it again! Thank you to my husband Ray for your love, prayers and for pushing me when I wanted to give up! Thank you to my Pastors during this journey, my father in the ministry and godfather Rev. Dr. Lewis Anthony, Rev. Dr. Heath Cheek and my current Pastor whom I serve with, my husband! Thank you to a group of Women of God who have served as examples to me and prayed for me when I dud nit even know what to do, Rev. Dr. Rita J Colbert, Rev. Kathryn Brown, Rev. Sharon Sanderlin Cheek, Rev. Dr. Frances Toni Draper, Rev. Leslie Barnett Davis and Rev. Angela Maxwell Brown. Thank you to my Sisterfriends (Miriam, Ebony, Ravelle, Diada, and Shameka) for your prayers and support! Thank you to my praying stylist Nicole Jerry-Porter for your love, example and support! Thank you to all my Sisters and Brothers in Ministry! Thank you to my family and the Deliverance Temple Family that traveled to Williamsburg, VA to be present to witness this elevation in ministry! Thank you to everyone that has ever encouraged me, loved me, prayed for me, supported me or pushed me.
