Lorde turned 18 today, dropped product and hooked a left onto a dark road. She was asked to be the music wrangler and soundtrack producer for the new Hunger Games Mockingjay Part 1 and thus we have her Yellow Flicker Beat. Watch the video to see how she is owning the song she made for the movie. I love this scary home made mess and I see what creepy houses she will be visiting for trick o treating. And always cool to see the weirdo do the Lorde Dance even if it is so abbreviated and not full out her explosive passion. I witnessed the real thing six feet away and it is mesmerizing and wet as she loses her mind and drools while she spazzes out. A serious young woman who is still finding her way with baby steps. I find her incredibly precious and sane even while she blows up all over the world stage.
