Lords Day Morning Prayer Father, as we awake this day we pray that you would help us to prepare our hearts for worship - may we see this as the special day that it is - may we approach our preparation of our bodies, our minds, our hearts, with diligence - may we know that we are preparing for a special day with the King of Kings - may we know that every day is a day of service and worship but that this day is a special day when we gather together in your house - may we be prayerful for each other - for worship and praise and learning and growing - may we pray for each other to come ready to give all glory and honor unto you O Lord - help us to pray for our teachers, leaders, musicians, and all who will help with the service to approach this day with great joy and with great abandonment to you Lord - your words - your will not theirs - help us to pray for our leaders that they and each of us just yield ourselves, all we are, all we have to you Lord and we make this all about You - we confess we come not in our strength or our goodness - nothing in our hands we bring - simply to the cross we cling - we come to our places of worship seeking Jesus - trusting in Him alone - filled and led by the Holy Spirit - relying fully on God - we come prayerfully - we come joyfully in Jesus name. Amen.
