Lordy, lordy, I figured it all out. Heres how I think it went down: Charles Glass was an evil man that people hated because he was the anti-Christ and destroying the community with his voodoo and rock music. But before anyone could extract their revenge, a mean local black man needed to kill somebody so he walked over to Shipman’s house where Vernon Shipman and Charles Glass were kissing each other. The black man said “Yuck!” and forced the two of them to drive Shipman’s car to a spot near the Old 191 Bridge over the French Broad River. When they got to the spot they happened upon this shy, retiring spinster picking blackberries. They forced her into the car and all four of them drove all over Henderson County, at the request of Shipman, who wanted to see his beloved homeland one last time, before arriving, in the car, at a clearing near the Lake Summit dam. The three victims willingly stood in place as the black man clobbered them senseless. The black man then drove Shipman’s car back to Maple Street but Harley Shipman was home so he parked the car two blocks north and walked over to the Chicken Shack for some fried chicken. The bodies were found five days later. I am so glad I have this taken care of...now I dont have to write a book. Now Im going out and be frivolous and do gay things. :-)
