Loretta Lynchs nomination as Attorney General is further proof that the revolving door between Wall Street and Washington is still spinning. Right after finishing law school, Lynch worked at the law firm that represented the biggest crooks behind the Savings and Loan Crisis. After her first stint as U.S. Attorney, she was a partner at another law firm defending the accountants who cooked Enrons books. And before her nomination as Attorney General, she oversaw the HSBC settlement that allowed a major bank to escape jail time for helping Mexican drug cartels launder dirty money.
