Los Amigos over Aspen Valley/KIG in Sunday action The action continues at the Rocky Mountain Open hosted by the Aspen Valley Polo Club. A well-coordinated Los Amigos attack was assisted by lights out defense as they shutout Aspen Valley Polo/KIG for the first two chukkers. Lucas Lalor scored the first goal of the game and a pair of goals from Crespo goals went unanswered in the opening chukker. After two periods of play, Los Amigo left the field with a 3-0 advantage. Aspen Valley Polo/KIG came alive in the third, with Marc Ganzxi and Nic Roldan each scoring a pair of goals. The Aspen Valley defense shutout Los Amigos Marc Ganzi added another goal from the field in the fourth chukker and converted a penalty shot for goal that gave Aspen Valley Polo/KIG a 6-3 edge. Los Amigos scored consecutive goals to tie it up at the end of the fourth, 6-6, on a single goal from Alejandra Foster, and a pair of goals from Lucas Lalor. Four fifth chukker goals saw Brian Middleton, Crespo, Lalor and Alejandra Foster move Los Amigos into the lead, 10-7. Nic Roldan scored the only goal of the chukker for Aspen Polo/KIG. Goals from Alejandra Foster (penalty shot) and Lucas Lalor extended the Los Amigos lead to two goals, 12-7. Aspen Valley/KIG responded with three goals of their ownith Marc Ganzi scoring the first goal of the chukker followed by twoi goals from Alejandro Gonzalez, but the momentum was with Los Amigos who celebrated the 12-10 victory.
