Los Angeles Angels have discussed potential trades involving outfielder Josh Hamilton. The Angels have talked to the Rangers & Padres about Hamilton. According to reports, the conversation between the Angels & Rangers lasted two minutes. The Padres also acquired outfielder Wil Myers from the Rays today which would likely rule out the possibility of a trade sending Hamilton to San Diego. Hamilton played for the Rangers from 2008-2012. Hamilton hit .263 (89-338) with 10 home runs & 44 RBI in 89 games this season with the Angels. Miami Marlins, Atlanta Braves, & San Francisco Giants are showing interest in free agent RHP Jake Peavy. Peavy went 7-13 with a 3.73 ERA in 32 starts between the Red Sox & Giants this season. Peavy went 1-2 with a 6.19 ERA in 4 starts during the postseason with the Giants. Baltimore Orioles signed outfielder Matt Tuiasosopo to a minor league deal. Tuiasosopo last played in the Majors in 2013 with the Tigers, hitting .244 (40-164) with 7 home runs & 30 RBI in 81 games. Tuiasosopo hits .207 (74-357) with 12 home runs & 45 RBI in 152 Major League games. Tuiasosopo hit .240 (98-409) with 13 home runs & 50 RBI in 122 games in the minors this season.
