Los Angeles area fans, got plans for a fun Friday night? Glendale Central Library presents a special night of Award Winning Science Fiction, with: “STAR TREK: Past, Present and Future.” Join us for this free public event, with the screening of two Star Trek episodes: The 1967 Hugo nominated “Mirror, Mirror,” and, taking us back into the alternate universe, its sequel, “Fairest of Them All,” from the new award winning series, Star Trek Continues. After the screening, stay for a Q & A panel, discussing Star Trek, past, present, and future. Panelists include: Marc Cushman, author of the definitive book on the making of the first Star Trek series, the 2014 Saturn Award winning These Are the Voyages, TOS; Vic Mignogna, star and executive producer of the 2014 Geekie Award winning web series, Star Trek Continues; James Kerwin, co-writer and director of the award-winning Star Trek Continues episode, “Fairest of Them All” Plus cast and production team members from Star Trek Continues; And some special surprise guests from Star Trek: The Original Series.
