Losing academic momentum to the distractions that exist is one thing! But i am not too sure if there is a direct link between the euphemism of being THe BLACK Sheep in the family, as opposed to in biblical contrast, The PRODIGAL Son......... Just heard news of a friend of mine, who was excommunicated by her church 8 years ago, to be 'disowned' & was ostracised by her family due to her 'coming out', stands today as living proof, that you can do without family support under these emotional excruciating circumstances, to pursue a career and come out good! She credited her academic perseverance and long suffering in the midst of this all ---- to tell me, her aging parents have rang and asked her to 'come home'! The parable of the Prodigal Son, for me, stands out most vividly to be a very painful lesson in life -- imbibed in part to The Lost son & The Lost Coin ~ to tell a story about LOSS & REDEMPTION & the call to come back home, is to blood the most essential need, above all basic needs, that is the need to be loved, is paramount! mmm........ and so proud and happy for her! Good night folks -- i know i yack too much........ xox
