Losing her foster home: Lola fka Loretta was found by New York Second chance rescue sitting in a high kill shelter in North Carolina with a dislocated hip. Despite being in a huge amount of pain, all she wanted from volunteers was to be petted. Luckily she had her hip operated on in Brooklyn and is now well on the road to recovery. Lola is bomb proof, excellent around, dogs, cats, and children, she is being trained and getting better and better at several commands come / sit / stay / heel / leave it as well as good as a positive reinforcement bridge and ok to release. She has really been through the wars and she just needs someone who will love her, and, if she is in a house with other dogs, ones that will not bother her too much, although she has been getting more and more playful as shes been getting better. Lola comes with the following: a soft fold up crate, winter boots, a fleece coat and a rain coat with fleece inside, 2 orthopaedic dog beds, her favorite toys, a leash, collar and a harness, enough food for two months + food and water bowls. She is strong but she has the most wonderful and gentle temperament. She is aa good girl and happy to sleep and play at home all day, in fact too much walking can put her in pain because of the op she had on her leg. Lolas favorite thing is to squish her head behind your back on the couch and go to sleep, and her teddy. Lola also loves being in the car for some reason, she attempts to board every vehicle with a door open and is happy as larry once inside.
