Losing weight and strength training . Theres a old weight training myth. That if a women lifts a weight she will turn into A Jay culter. Well let me shed some light on that . You need to lift weights if your going loose weight. Dont get me wrong you can do it gy Counting calories and keeping to a calorie controlled diet works but slowly. Were as if you start lifting weights this creates lean muscle that effectively burns calories when your resting, asleep and in the bath.... etc etc. Look at this way... if your a heavy individual say 300lb now your body has built up strong muscles carrying you around. So you start losing weight. The weight goses but so dose that nice strong muscle . So what do you instead... lose weight and lift weights that way you lose weight but keep that strong body. And with the added lean muscle you burn more and keep the weight off. So dieters pick up the dummbells and barbell. And lift your way to a healthily leaner you.
