Lossiemouth FC Youths 2-2 Aberlour Villa Lossie started very well and continued their dominance throughout the first half. Scott Forrester opened the scoring, he turned the defender on the edge of the box and slotted home into the corner. 1-0 Half time. In the second half, Lossie started well again and were pushing forward for a second. Very nice passing play from the home team. New signing Scott Mann scored a volley into the top corner after the ball came out bouncing from a Chris Cooper corner. Lossie seemed to tire as the game went on and made a few changes. Gaps started to appear in the defence and Aberlour started hitting Lossie on the counter attack. Aberlour scored 2 in the last 10 minutes to snatch a draw. Credit to them for taking their chances well. Very impressed with our performance for 80 minutes, just a few lapses in concentration near the end. Things are certainly moving in the right direction, some excellent football being played by Lossie Youths. The referee, Mark Conway, had a great game. He let the game flow as much as he could and used common sense. Thanks to Aberlour Villa for the game and all the best to them!
