Lost 80s: Another song that made 80s on 8s chart of The Most Rad Party Hits of the 80s was this 1985 one-hit wonder by a well-known actor and then, stand-up comedian, Eddie Murphy. It was ranked at a respectable #11. The song was written and produced by Rick James and at Ricks home studio in Buffalo, New York. The single reached #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, kept off the top spot by Lionel Richies Say You, Say Me.v Rick James also provided some vocals for the song. Despite the songs popularity and notable chart performance, AOL Radio ranked the song at #36 on the list of the 100 Worst Songs Ever. Over the years, Party All The Time has been covered and/or parodied by artists like Weird Al Yankovich and the singers on Glee; and it is used in one of the Grand Theft Auto games.
