Lost another Dear Ol Friend again yesterday, Mike Atta of The Middle Class, one of the first punk bands from Orange County and probably the first true hardcore bands there was. They influenced generations with their music including my band Love Canal who was givin this review from Tim Yohannan of Maximum Rock n Roll magazine issue #19 in 1984. Quite a neat ten-song tape that really shouldve come out on vinyl. Its classic SoCal thrash, reminding me a bit of what the MIDDLE CLASS might have sounded like had they continued from their thrash roots. It kicks! Looking back at this now, I think it is one of the greatest honors we could ever have. Thanx for your music and friendship Mike, you were one of the most humble, gracious and creative persons I had the pleasure of knowing, R.I.P.
