Lots of GFS bashing going on in the weather world these last two days... Not understanding that really because the GFS as far as I am concerned has truly ramped up its game this year. I know I may be biased cause I am forecasting a suppressed solution but the GFS is wavering yes but in the end it keeps coming back to that idea. The GFS ensembles this morning also for the most part agree with their master....lol The problem right now is the upper low now crossing Arizona and New Mexico has been well sampled. The forecast out to 60 hours is almost identical from run to run. The problem comes with the not yet sampled energy dropping in from the Yukon. Each run of each model handle this almost jokingly different even just 24 hours out from the start. To me these systems have not been modeled well at all these last few weeks. For the most part they have been further north and faster than they were advertised to be. IF this continues once again there is no way the southern energy fully phase to bring this inland up the coast and would have a hard time even bringing it up just offshore to give us a true noreaster. That said not one weather outlet is following this thought right now so I stand alone...determined but none the less alone....lol STay tuned!
