Lots of crazy people… who all have a dream, Wishing for everything, throwing pennies in a stream. My life, so hectic… much hotter then steam. You are what I need to redeem. Through everything… the tears and pain, Nothing to lose, nothing to gain. The crappy days, when it always rains, My heart is broken, shirts covered in blood stains. There are pieces to my life’s puzzle that I need to find. Sometimes I wish I could go back, sometimes I need to rewind. Sometimes I can be stupid, sometimes so blind… Here and there I zone out, other times so kind. Thinking way back to all the laughs and the jokes, Running around with friends, all the hugs and the pokes. Renting a cabin, just chilling with my folks. My parents trying to quit, trying to stop with the smokes. As I get older, I start to realize… There’s a lot to compromise. I get stuck and don’t know what to do… That’s why I always go to you. You seem to be the best friend I’ve ever made, Let’s hope the memories will never fade. After everything I put you through, you have stayed, You are someone that I would never trade.
