Lots of folks asking about my shoulder injury, so I guess Ill update. Pretty sure Ive torn the rotator cuff. Ive had the same injury before so I know what it feels like. Ive also got a goose egg on my elbow, so it might be chipped. No point in going to the E.R. because they wont be able to do anything but refer me to an orthopedist. Will call my doc in the morning to see what he suggests. I was supposed to spend the next two days at a beach house in Galveston with a friend (talking through theater plans). Not sure whats going to happen with all that. All of my baking orders for this week (with the exception of a wedding cake) have been canceled. I have a writing deadline to meet (non-fiction devotional) but typing is actually okay (unless they put me in a sling). If I keep the arm very still it doesnt hurt at all. If youve ever had a rotator cuff injury, you know what I mean. Its only bad if you try to move it, especially if you try to lift your arm (which is impossible at this point).
